Weblos Woods Campout

For this event, the Troop constructed a lookout tower and campsite entrance gateway using their Pioneering Skills.  After Webelos had fun performing their lookout duties on our tower, our Scouts taught them one of the lashings used in the tower assembly.

DC Historical Hike and Camping Trip

Our Scouts took part in the Baden-Powell Historical Hike through Washington DC.

During this hike, the Troop discovered how great an impact Boy Scouts had on this historic city.  They had the honor of speaking with many of our Veterans, including a 101-year old WWII Veteran at the Memorial built for him and his fellow Veterans who fought for our freedom during WWII.

​Cyber Chip Training

Parents and Leaders, please be aware that your Scout must complete the Cyber Chip Requirements for their current grade level prior to commencing work on technology-based merit badges (i.e. Digital Technology, Photography, etc.).

The Troop is a member of the Suffolk County Council, Matinecock District.

Our Troop meets every Tuesday night at the Wm. T. Rogers Middle School cafeteria, except on those days when the school is closed. The meeting is held from 7:00 to 8:30, the opening ceremony begins at 7:15. etc.).

Troop Meeting at R.J.O.

Because our usual meeting location is not available, we will be holding our 12/10/19 Troop Meeting at R.J.O. Intermediate School. Hope to see you there!

Additional dates where we will meet at R.J.O. are 12/10/19, 3/3/20, 3/31/20, 5/5/20.
